From what my friends have showed me, it's definitely worth it.
- New characters
- Better graphics
- No more dual strike / tag power, weakened CO powers
- New units
- Harder to win
- More map editor options
- WiFi compatibility
- Campaign has an actual storyline, characters are more serious and warlike
- You can put your CO inside units, which is the only way you can get CO power

Just got Days of Ruin yesterday. It fucking rocks.
The missions themselves don't seem as hard, but it's definitely harder to get a good ranking. I've already gotten two C ranks, and those were just from a few dumb mistakes. You really have to play it well in this game.

I got to mission 22, but I made a costly mistake, so I turned off my DS for the night in anger.
At this moment, I'm about 4 b/p away from EGSC. I'll definitely make it tonight.

Also, 2 more missions and I'll have beaten all the chapter missions in Days of Ruin. Then I'll move on to the extra trial missions, and then I'll go back and S-rank everything I screwed up on.
